Feline Life Stage® Plans

Life Stage® Three  - Five years to eight years (Mature I)
- Comprehensive physical exam
- Intestinal parasite check
- Vaccinations against distemper, rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, pneumonitis (chlamydia), leukemia, FIV and rabies (determined by exposure, previous vaccinations, state law and veterinarian recommendation)
- If pet is/has been outside, from multiple cat household, or from cattery/breeder, FIP  vaccination is recommended
- Annual dental exam and counseling
- Annual nutritional counseling
- Annual laboratory screening tests (blood and urine) to establish baseline data for future comparison, monitor effects of chronic medications, and/or detect current problems that are not yet evident on physical examination.
- Continue external parasite control
- Recommend heartworm prevention

Life Stage® Four  - Eight to twelve years (Mature II)
- Annual/semi-annual comprehensive physical exam
- Annual exam for intestinal parasite check
- Vaccinations against distemper, rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, pneumonitis (chlamydia), leukemia, FIV and rabies (determined by exposure, previous vaccinations, state law and veterinarian recommendation)
- If pet is/has been outside, from multiple cat household, or from cattery/breeder, FIP  vaccination is recommended
- Annual dental exam and counseling
- Annual nutritional counseling
- Annual laboratory screening tests (blood and urine) to establish baseline data for future comparison, monitor effects of chronic medications, and/or detect current problems that are not yet evident on physical examination.
- Radiographs (x-rays) to evaluate heart and lungs, blood pressure monitoring and ultrasound evaluation of heart and other organs if indicated.
- Continue external parasite control and heartworm prevention

Life Stage®  Five  - Twelve years + (Golden years)
- Annual/semi-annual comprehensive physical exam
- Annual exam for intestinal parasite check
- Vaccinations against distemper, rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, pneumonitis (chlamydia), leukemia, FIV and rabies (determined by exposure, previous vaccinations, state law and veterinarian recommendation)
